Have you recently bought some beautiful Chris King parts? Well, consider yourself lucky, because Chris King has become the latest in the ever-expanding range of companies that are announcing significant delays in parts availability.
Like White Industries (who are back to a more normal level now), Paul Components, and Phil Wood, (among others) before them, Chris King is out of just about everything that involves bearings (hubs, headsets, wheels & BB's), and won't have more available until early '21 (Jan-Feb). We still have a solid stock of most parts, tools and consumables which will ship as normal. Plus a selection of in stock hubs, headsets & BB's which are ready to ship.
This is disappointing news for us, and we're sure many of you are feeling the same way, but we have to remind ourselves that all this time while other companies have been trying to play catch-up, Chris King has had pretty solid availability. It's only now that the combination of nationwide closures and short-staffing due to the coronavirus, along with the resulting bike-boom have come together to put Chris King in a similar situation where demand has vastly exceeded their normal levels of production.
The good news is that White Industries parts are still generally available on a 2 week turnaround so we'd encourage you to check them out for any hubs, headsets or BB's in the meantime.
We're still taking orders for Chris King products, but please remember when you place an order for hubs, headsets & BB's that they will ship in Jan-Feb. They are worth the wait, and by placing an order now you will ensure that you're first in line to get your products as soon as they are available.

We will continue to update you on the situation as is progresses, and as soon as parts become available, you'll hear about it first here. For the moment, though, we are expecting to not be able to get most parts from Chris King until the first couple of months of the new year.
As always, if you're looking for a specific part, contact us, because there's always a chance that we might have it on hand, but we, too, are affected by the shortages, and our stock of many items has run low.
