When it comes to carbon rims designed for rim brakes, there aren't many that are more striking than Zipp's 303 Firecrest. These rims are designed to be a great all-around rim, so they have a medium-aero profile, and like all of Zipp's iconic road rims, they feature the company's signature dimpled texture to reduce drag and improve crosswind stability. Possibly the most striking feature of these though, is their textured braking surface with its deep siping to ensure great braking in any weather.
With this recent wheelbuild, we've combined the light-weight, but great all-around performance of the 303s with White Industries' timeless T11 road hubs. We love the combination of what is easily one of the most technologically-advanced rim-brake rims in existence with the classic high polish of the silver hubs and silver CX-Ray spokes.
These wheels just look fast.
