PF30 is like BB30, but simpler and larger 46mm diameter, 68mm width -all the easier to built lighter. CeramicSpeed's PF30 for Campagnolo Ultra-Torque cranks makes it easy to install Campy and Fulcrum cranks on a PF30 bike.
The bundle has CeramicSpeed Standard or Coated Bearings and the requisite cups. Hardened-steel races in the bearings move thanks to super smooth, super round CeramicSpeed balls in Both versions. The Coated version sports a metallic coating 3 microns thick laid onto the hardened steel, making it even smoother and harder, resulting in even lower drag and longer service life.

The spindle, not the bottom bracket, is where bearing sit on Ultra-Torque, pressed against the arms. A removal/installation tool is necessary; we sell one here, but any appropriate tool will work. Spacers are included in case the bb shell is too narrow.
The bearings are built by installing our ceramic balls in hardened-steel races. It means a 75% reduction in drag versus conventional bottom brackets. The CeramicSpeed Balls are 400% smoother and 128% harder than steel. CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings have frictional drag 0.3-0.4w per set with standard grease. They also last at least 3x longer.
More of your effort goes to driving the bike with Coated Bearings. The coated races find a 50% drag reduction and an improvement in bearing life of 60% vs. Standard.
To customize your ride to your needs, change grease. All Round Grease comes installed; can be swapped for lower drag Race Day Grease or higher durability LongLife Grease, better for messy conditions.
Installation of PF30 for Campy UT
If you don't have any experience installing bottom brackets and bearings, we recommend that you have your local bike shop fit your new bearings.
