With all of the terrible covid-19 news out of the north of Italy–where Stelbel is based–over the past few months, we're stoked to be able to show a piece of really good news, as it were, from the area.  Anyone who's seen a photo of one knows that the company's stainless steel Antenore Disc is a great-looking frameset, but getting to really admire it in person was a special treat.  The frame's smoothed tig welds give the bike a unified look that reminds me of what the future was supposed to look like 100 years ago, and the paint is so crisp and classy that I found myself following it around tubes just to see it unfold.

Looking through Stelbel's catalog, it's easy to see how much attention has been paid to all of the small details: from custom dropouts that form a powerful conclusion to the stout chainstays to the engraved (and match painted) bottom bracket shells, each aspect of the frame has a deeply considered look.

But looks won't do much when you're leaning deep into a corner, or mashing on the pedals as you crest a summit, and that's where Stelbel's cycling experience becomes very clear.  These bikes are built for riding first, but they're built for looking stunning too.  After all, having a sharp-looking bike never slowed anyone down, and it sure is nice to be able to get to a mid-ride cafe and admire your bike while you sip on your espresso....

For now, we hope you'll enjoy these photos, and remember that if you want to get your own custom Stelbel, we're here to help!
