Wheel Build of the Week: Chris King Matte Bourbon ISO / Whisky 36W

As much as we find ourselves trying (and failing 🙄) to come up with witty puns every time we think of this bourbon Whisky wheelset, the fact is that it's a beauty that will ride as great as it looks! 

This wheelset got one of the few remaining pairs of Chris King Matte Bourbon ISO boost hubs and paired them with rims that land right in that sweet spot of width and stiffness.  The Whisky 36W rims have a very nice 30mm internal width, which will work great with tires in the 2.3-2.6 range that so many of us are riding these days, and they're nice and light to keep things feeling sporty😉.  We like the thick hookless bead too, as it keeps tires from getting cut easily on rock impacts!
