This weeks wheel build of the week is not a spec we see too often here at AVT, but that's what custom wheels are all about!

These Industry Nine Torch hubs in purple are paired to Whisky Parts No 9 GVL Gravel) Rim with Sapim CX Ray spokes and brass nipples. The result is a great looking, lightweight, fast gravel wheel set up at a price that's tough to beat.

The No.9 GVL carbon rim’s low rotational weight and the aerodynamic benefits of its 35 mm-deep rim profile help you conserve energy over miles of rollers, false flats, and whatever else your gravel rides throw at you.

The 23 mm internal width pairs well with a wide range of tires for versatility in unpredictable conditions. The asymmetric rim profile equalizes spoke tension and angles for stronger, stiffer builds, making the No.9 GVL a solid foundation for wheels that will take your gravel bike to the next level.
