It's been really cool and inspiring to have some beautiful wheels built on a combination of Phil Wood hubs and sweet mountain bike rims going out lately!  This most recent set is build with Phil Wood's MTB hubs on Whisky Parts Co. No. 9 36W rims.  This wheelset doesn't just look great though, it's also easy to service, and super tough.

Phil Wood's MTB hubs feature easy-to-remove, tool-free endcaps that make cleaning and freehub maintenance a breeze, and the high flanges with cutouts keep weight low and just look amazing!  One of our favorite details of these hubs is the long taper on the front hub endcaps.  It's simply beautiful, and it's also classic Phil Wood.😉

Whisky Parts Co.'s No. 9 36W rim is a sweet all-around trail, mountain touring, do-it-all offroad rim, and as such makes a great complement to the durable and versatile Phil Wood hubs.
