    Stelbel Ordering & Warranty

    We're pleased to be adding Stelbel Custom Frames to our regular product offering, providing the perfect canvas for the great components we sell from Chris King, Phil Wood, White Industries and more.

    Stelbel Custom Frame Ordering

    How to place an order for a Stelbel.
    The first stage in ordering a Stelbel is to select which frame you would like and place an order through our website. You can view all of the frames available here, plus you can always contact us if you have any questions at all on the characteristics of each frame to find the one best suited to you.

    Paying for your order.
    We ask that you pay a 50% deposit when ordering the frame in order to secure your order with Stelbel in Italy. As every frame is made to measure and custom for each customer this deposit is non-refundable should you decide to cancel your order. The balance of your order for the frame and any build kit components must be paid in full prior to shipping your new frame / bike.

    What does custom mean exactly?.
    Each frame is custom and made to measure in Italy, following the same technique Stelio Belletti started developing in 1973. With Stelbel you get the benefit of a series of specific models that have been designed to give certain riding characteristics. So what this means is that certain frame design elements are set (tubing selection, dropouts, bottom bracket shell) with the geometry customized according to the riders requirements.

    Design & Approvals Process.
    We're happy to guide you through the design process, ideally using a recent bike fit you've had or precise measurements from your current ride. These are then submitted to Stelbel who will return a frame design for you to approve by email.

    Paint Design.
    Every Stelbel frame is also custom painted to order in any RAL, Pantone, or PPG color, please consult the photos of finished Stelbel frames on our website or their own Instagram and we can help you to realize a totally unique color scheme. Components such as bar, stem and seatpost can also be painted to match the frame.

    Please note however that outside of color choice, the schematic paint design (ie the shapes, graphics & model name) for each model are set and it’s not possible to interchange or mix schemes from other models. For example its not possible to have an “Ortica” paint design on an “Antenore” or vice versa.

    Components such as handlebar, stem and seatpost can be painted to match the frame for an additional charge.

    Complete Bikes / Build Kits.
    As you'd expect from AVT we start every frameset build with the very best rolling stock with headsets, bottom brackets and hubs from Chris King, White Industries, Phil Wood and others. From there we can help you put together your own bespoke build with groupsets from Campagnolo, Shimano or SRAM. Handbuilt wheels from ENVE, BOYD, Knight and many more. Finishing kits from ENVE, 3T, Fizik.

    Warranty.

    The general warranty on Stelbel products is 5 years, in addition there is a lifetime guarantee on the quality and integrity of steel and stainless steel frame welds. These guarantee terms are applicable only to the original owner of the frame.
