If you're looking for well-designed, beautiful, and durable singlespeed hubs, it's really hard to beat those from Paul Component.  They're just well designed–with threaded end-caps that allow you to adjust the bearings as much as you can adjust any sealed cartridge bearing–and they're built tough without being overbuilt, so you know that your hubs are going to last but you also know you're not hauling around unnecessary weight.  And of course: they're just drop-dead gorgeous in a very simple way.  These are hubs that will look as stylish ten years down the road as they do right now.

In this case, the rider was looking for a lightweight but tough singlespeed wheelset for his boost-spaced bike.  Paul makes some of the toughest singlespeed hubs available in boost spacing, and they're plenty light-weight too.  The Velocity Blunt SS rims are just a great shape, are tubeless ready, and have proven themselves to be a light-weight and reliable rim.  Paired with a White Industries freewheel, these will make an awesome wheelset!
