Chris King's New Colors: First Arrivals

They're here!

After months of waiting, we've just started to receive the first sampling of Chris King's new colors!  In person, the colors are just stunning.  The two-tone really stands-out, and it's sure to become a central part of a lot of sweet bike builds this year.  Gold is always a standout, and this one is no exception.  Chris King's deep polish makes the company's gold stand out beautifully, and we're really happy to have this color available again.

Getting your new parts

If you placed a pre-order back in November, your order may be among those that we're starting to be able to fill, but even for those, because we've received some, but not all of our order, we're only able to fill those for which all of the parts have arrived.  Just know that we'll be shipping your orders out as quickly as we get the parts needed to fill them, which should happen over the coming month or so.

For those of you who didn't get a pre-order in, but who want to get in on these gorgeous colors, what does the timeline look like?  Right now, we're expecting a 3 month wait for orders placed today.  We hope that might shorten a bit, but that's not looking like it's likely at this point. 

The takeaway is that these colors are pretty special: the new two-tone is something completely different, and is incredibly striking.  It's just an amazing look, and we're stoked to get to see more of this color.  The gold parts are just what you'd expect from Chris King, and we're so glad to see this color again.  It was sorely-missed, and the new font is a fun addition that separates it nicely from the gold that preceded it.

Finally, the updates to Chris King's MTB hubs is very cool: subtle details about, and we'll take a closer look at those in another post so keep an eye out for that.
