Big changes to AVT.bike

We just launched a new version of our website, which now runs on Shopify, take a look below at some of the improvements, or head over to AVT.Bike and check them out for yourself!

The new AVT.bike website

Mobile Responsiveness

We know that many users browse the site on a mobile device, so you should see a much improved display and checkout process when you view the site on a phone or tablet.

Currency Converter

You can now check pricing in several of the main currencies we know that many of our customers use; Euro, GBP, AUS$, CAN$ and JAP YEN. These use an exchange rate lookup to give you a guide price in your local currency, please note though that when you checkout your card will be billed in USD$ at whatever exchange rate your card company uses. Also any refund made post purchase will continue to be made in USD$.

Google Pay & Apple Pay

We’ve added several new, popular payment methods in addition to all major credit cards and PayPal. So you can now checkout easily with a Google Pay or Apple Pay account.

USA Customers Can Pay Interest Free Using QuadPay

For customers based in the USA we now have the option to split payment for your order into 4 equal payments over 4 months, interest free using QuadPay.  If you are located in the US, you’ll see this option during the checkout process which will briefly direct you to the QuadPay site to enter your payment details before coming back to the AVT checkout to complete your purchase.

Better Navigation & Search

There are some changes to the navigation and search to make it easier to find the product you are looking for, this includes a detailed Left Hand navigation which is displayed on many collection pages as you navigate to find a product.

More Flexible Sales Promotions.

Stay tuned for some more regular, new sales promotions thanks to the improved ability to generate discount codes on Shopify. In particular we’ll be adding some great bundled discounts for those occasions when you need to buy several Chris King or other components in matching colors! Plus you’ll see some improved custom wheel options too. Stay tuned to our newsletter for details on this.

Account Changes.

If you previously had a login to our old site this will no longer work and you’ll need to create a new one the first time you check out on the Shopify website. But this also gives the advantage of letting you easily retrieve any saved payment information from ANY Shopify site that you may have used recently, which will speed up your checkout process.

This week's wheel build of the week is another super versatile gravel set up that's equally at home on road or CX.

Astral's Wanderlust Carbon rim is originally designed as a lightweight adventure / gravel rim capable of running up to 2.5" tires. But given their rim profile (23mm internal, 29mm external) they can perform double (or triple) duty as a pure road rim or cyclo-cross race wheelset.
