Wheel Build of the Week: CLD / Aileron

When looking for a low-profile aero rim that's tubeless compatible, light-weight, and made-in-USA, there aren't a whole lot of options, but luckily Velocity USA has a very good one: the Aileron.

This week's Wheel Build of the Week is a great all-around road wheelset (that could be equally at home on a gravel bike), that's made-in-USA, and looks pretty sweet too!  The Aileron rim has a nice 28mm depth with a 20mm internal width and 25mm external width, and is designed to have the best aerodynamics when combined with tires in the 23-28mm range.  Being tubeless ready just adds to the already great package.

Built on White Industries' CLD hubs using Sapim's CX-Ray spokes (in silver!), this wheelset is light without being fragile, and will deliver lasting performance.  Sound good to us!
