Wheel Build of the Week: CLD / Radiant

One of the wheelsets that came out of our stash of polished Astral Radiant rims was this stunner! 🤩  With silver Sapim CX-Ray spokes radiating out from the pink White Industries CLD hubs to the gorgeously-polished rims, these wheels are anything but understated, but when they look this good, who cares about being understated? 

As we've said before, White Industries makes some of the lowest-drag hubs around, so they're perfect on a road bike, where you don't want to be getting slowed-down by a draggy freehub.  Add to that the light weight, clean centerlock rotor interface, and great looks of the CLD hubs, and you're got a really solid choice to make form the axis of your wheels.

Astral Cycling's Limited Edition Polished Radiant rims have a really nice semi-aero profile that makes them perfect for long days in the saddle.  There's just enough depth to help out on the flat sections without adding a bunch of extra weight to slow you down on the climbs, and the finish is simply next-level.  These rims have to be seen to be appreciated fully.

All in all, this is just a great all-around road wheelset!
