Wheel Build of the Week: R45D / Belgium +

There's a trend we've been noticing lately, and it's one that we're stoked to see: silver spokes seem to be making a bit of a comeback.  Now this doesn't mean that we're seeing every wheelset getting built with silver spokes–far from it!–but we're seeing a few wheelsets come through where the riders request silver for their spoke color.  And don't get us wrong: we love black spokes; but we also really appreciate variety, and feel strongly that silver just looks better in certain situations. 

In this case, we love it.  It's fun to imagine how much different this wheelset would look were it built with black spokes, but we have to say that the silver CX-Rays just look sharp.  These are good-looking spokes to begin with, but the silver color really shows off their beautiful construction, and they just look great on the polished black Chris King R45D hubs.
