This weeks wheel build of the week features another great pair of Boost MTB wheels built around the Whisky parts No 9 36W carbon rim. You may remember this one from the pun-filled post last year about these Whisky rims laced up to Bourbon hubs ;)

The Whisky rims are a modern carbon all-mountain / trail rim featuring a 30mm internal width designed to run tires in the 2.3 to 2.6 range. That makes these rims a great value for money alternative to other more expensive rims from IBIS, Santa Cruz or Zipp.

White Industries ever dependable CLD Boost hubs provide the rolling hardware laced to Sapim CX Ray spokes. To top off this build the lucky customer added the full set of matching White Industries parts with red headset, BB and crank extractors.

Check out this wheelset here with hub options from White Industries, Chris King, Industry Nine and ONYX from $1685.
