Phil Wood manufactures their new 2nd Generation Aluminum Outboard Bottom Bracket (OBB) Cups for integrated spindle and crank systems from US-produced 7075 aluminum. To fit Shimano 24mm cranks, or SRAM GXP cranks.
Each OBB cup, center sleeve and spacer is machined in-house to the same high-quality standards they apply to all of their products. These cups are only available in British threading, and in 68/73, 83 and 100mm spacing. All of their OBB cups come with our Standard 6805 bearings which have a full contact seal and a 100% fill with our Phil Waterproof Grease. You can also order your OBB cups with their low drag Carbonyte bearings. Their Carbonyte bearings have different internal specifications, use a low drag seal and Phil's full synthetic Carbonyte grease.
These aluminum OBB cups are available in 9 anodized colors and high polished finish as the rest of Phil's products for a coordinated color match.
Each OBB comes with a set of cups, a center sleeve (please specify your desired application width), and (3) 2.5 mm spacers that match the color of your cups (No color substitutions allowed).
If you plan to use a SRAM GXP crankset, you will need to also purchase this adaptor separately.
Please note: You can purchase center sleeves and spacers separately. When ordering replacement dust covers, remember that these OBBs use Phil's standard size dust covers.
